For those who are unaware... there is a brand new Vital Information release entitled "Come on in". I just received my copy (from Amazon.com $13.99). GREAT PLAYING from the entire band on this one... interesting compositions.

Smith is in top form with a impeccable time feel and solos... and Frank Gambale is shredding as usual. Baron Browne also plays some great solos.

In addition, the Journey - Greatest Hits 1978-1997 - Music Videos & Live Performances DVD was recently released. This has a ton of great footage from the 1981 "Escape" Tour gig in Houston, TX.

I highly recommend both for Steve Smith fans!
